Dr. Ikramov was the Head of the Research Laboratory of Computed Tomography and Ultrasound Diagnosis at the V. Vakhidov Republican Research Center for Surgery. Dr. Ikramov pioneered the introduction of minimally invasive medical and diagnostic methods for examining the chest and abdominal cavity under the control of CT. He was the first to introduce chemotherapy into clinical practice in the treatment of echinococcosis of the lungs and liver in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
