Ermek A. Akhmetov was the Deputy Director for Research and Economics at the A.N. Syzganov National Research Center for Surgery; the Head of the Center for Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology (PET, MRI, CT) at the Republican Diagnostic Center, National Medical Holding (Astana, Kazakhstan); Vice-President for Academic and Clinical Affairs at the Astana Medical University. He is an expert in diagnostic radiology.
